CLASSESAdventures in Music This fun interactive parent and child class explores sound, rhythm, and movement using traditional, original, folk, pop, rock, and classical music. Skip to my Lou!....Shake! Shake! Shake!....Jamm along & sing a song! Mini Wee Play Imagine a room filled with all sorts of imaginative, multi-sensory manipulatives to stimulate and encourage your little one to explore at their own pace. Add to that balls, swings, scooters, toys, crayons, paint, glue, and music and you have the beginnings of a very exciting program. Next, we clean up and gather around for circle time with music, fingerplays, dancing scarves, ringing bells, bah bahs and sing some of our favorite songs. A brief Story and Snack time brings us all together around a table, and then its outside time. Chasing butterflies, squirting water, chasing bubbles is some of the fun until it’s time to go home with stickers sending everyone off in a great mood. Caretakers are allowed to participate only with permission from the teacher in advance. Remember a healthy snack, comfy shoes, and parent participation is highly encouraged. Parents strongly recommended, no caregivers, please. Wee Explorers On your mark, get set, go! This fun-filled class engages you and your child into a multi-sensory program that uses music, storytelling, creative movement, art, rhythm, instruments, and nature walks as a means of inspiring imaginative play and social interaction. Add to the mix football, golf, parachute, basketball, swings, scooters and tricycles and there is a smile on everyone's face! Circle time and snack time are the two favorite social times together but don't forget the Bah Bah bears, bubbles and stickers that are apart of every class too! Please bring a light snack, and comfy walking shoes! Caregivers are allowed to participate only with permission from the teacher in advance. This class encourages parents to play and experience a lot of new ideas towards parenting! Parents strongly recommended, no caregivers, please. Crawlers with Parent Discussion Group Come and enjoy a peaceful afternoon with your little one in our baby crawler/non-crawler class. Each session offers a gentle approach to discovering your child's individual strengths; by using appropriately designed kinesthetic challenges to strengthen your child's reflexes, encourage crawling, increase balance, all while establishing a trusting relationship with you and the environment. Give us a call and find out about taking a trial class. Parents strongly recommended, no caregivers, please. Big Wee We start our high energy class within an open, spacious room filled with 5-6 focused Multi-Sensory centers to explore. The art table will have a specific project with 2-3 steps involved using paint, glue, sprinkles, scissors, water, and more. A Discover Table along with a Specialized matt area will allow children the chance to explore Science, Math,or Imaginative Manipulatives at their own pace. A Reading, quiet area along with a Specialized Gross motor skill will be encouraged such as Football, Basketball, Golf, and tricycle races, to name a few. Clean up time will be done together and Circle Time will be more concentrated. Singing songs, Echoing, Dancing to a story, using Instruments will help children to find their voices and express themselves out loud and as a group. Then, after Bah Bahs we take a breather with Storytime and Snack. Remember to bring a healthy snack, and comfy shoes. Parents strongly recommended, no caregivers, please. All family members and grandparents are welcome to come and enjoy class with you and your little one. Siblings can only come with permission from the teacher. At the time of registration, please take into consideration your child's nap time as there will be no refunds or credits once payment is received. In order to keep the integrity of the class, class times and days are subject to change. |
