We welcome you to Little Dolphins By The Sea Preschool, set in the beautiful woods of Temescal Gateway Park in Pacific Palisades. We offer a five-day a week program for children ages 2.10 (2 years and 10 months) through 4.9 (four years and 9 months) from the hours of 8:45am - 12:30pm, as well as ages 4.10 (four years and 10 months) through 5.2 (five years and 2 months) from the hours of 8:45am - 3:00pm. We provide a stimulating multicultural curriculum program with a multitude of hands-on learning experiences in the areas of art, music, theater and dramatic play and athletics, to name a few—stimulating all of the senses. With a student-teacher ratio of 7:1, we embrace the understanding that early childhood education lays the foundation for a child's self-confidence and later learning. We focus on promoting social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. We value and take time to know what makes each child unique. We strive to nurture each child's natural curiosity as is it grows in to a love of learning. Whether we are learning the native dances of India or exploring painting in the style of artist Jackson Pollack, our activities are designed to inspire each child's own creative spirit. At Little Dolphins By The Sea, we believe excellence in education can only be achieved when there is a sense of community. Our community includes families, teachers, staff and administration—all working in unison to brighten the lives of our children—one day at a time. |
